The Author

My name is Cody. My age is 9 years old. I go to Hokitika Primary
School. Ruma Kiwi is my classroom at my school.

I like to play Duel Monster which is a card game. I like to read
horror books. My most favorite animal is a wolf.

The Writer’s Workshop has given me some responsibilities like

don’t make your stories boring. I want to be an artist when I

grow up.

Story

Wolf Story A wolf is an amazing animal. Deciding what the best move for the pack is the alpha job. A wolf is at the top of the food chain. I want a wolf for my birthday. There is only one alpha male in the pack. The alpha male and the pack hunt for prey. The wolf is a deadly animal. Never steal a baby wolf because the pack will find you and attack you. It is true that when the alpha male dies the pack can break down and all join the new pack.

 I went on a holiday to a forest I had never seen before. It was in New Zealand. I got lost because I forgot my maps. l walked along and heard a wolf cry. l saw a pack of wolves. There were six wolves in the pack. The alpha saw me. He howled to his pack to tell them that he found prey. Their prey was me.

I ran very fast and got hit in the face by wet branches. I climbed a tree so the pack could not eat me. I stayed in the tree for five hours until the wolf pack wandered off. When it was safe to get down, I climbed down from the tree and found a baby wolf. I found my way back to my tent. I adopted the baby wolf and took him home.

 Five years later I had a pet wolf. I named him Paw. I got a pet wolf because they are amazing.
